no it is not a card. it is a unit that connects your laptop or desktop to a wireless network. . some people call it a router i think. it does include a usb cable too.

it says on the side: Windows 98SE, ME , 2000 or XP with a service pack 1 or later. bid on it, its brand new in the box never opened. nice and compact wont take up a lot of space on your desk or wherever.
