The listing, Handblown glass heart pendant beaded necklace has ended.

This necklace features a hand blown heart pendant featuring three flowers, bronze plash pattern in the background and a black back. The beaded string the pendant is on was done by myself and features pink seed beads that match the flowers, coffee seed beads, and pearl seed beads. The toggle is fill metal so it will not tarnish and the entire thing is beaded on nylon coated gauged steel wire for flexibility, strength and durability. Picture next to a quarter to show pendant size. Ship is one dollar via paypal. This is a little heavier than my usual jewelry. Thanks for looking!

i have been wanting to get into beading where is the best place as far as selection and price to get started?? also what would you recomend buying as nessities to start off with??? thankx in advance for the help =)

It honestly takes a bit to get a good bead set up going. A basic bead tool kit from Joann's is excellent to start with (you'll want needlenose pliers and a good set of crimpers), beadalon or tiger tail, crimps, clasps or fasteners, and a selection of beads. There is a lot more you can get but you learn as you go (at least I did). Seed beads are your base and it's best to get a wide selection - ebay has really great lots - look for free ship. Other than that look for sales and duck into little bead specialty shops - they can usually give you some good tips. Joann's usually has bead jewelry sheets you can grab for free with shopping list and how-to instructions.
