I have here a DVD Writer / Player I saved from an old Compaq Presario desktop computer. I tried to hook it up to my laptop but found that it was not compatible. It is fully functional. I just have no need for it. Want it?

Looks Like it is an IDE CD/DVD Burner w/ Light Scribe.

Tried to hook it up to a laptop? LOL it can be hooked up to a laptop if you have a SATA to USB Adapter.

Sorry I meant if you wanted to hook it up I have the Item you would need to make it USB to work for Laptop or Desktop. :-)

Lol. It's funny because I found that I could hook t up by swapping out my external hard drive. The light came on and everything but the laptop wouldn't recognize it. Think I'll just buy an external burner. :-)
