This is Willows business partner and I can answer this for you. She makes sure the stones do not have any bad mojo attached to them before she does her crafting. Stones are very powerful and can soak up others peoples energies who come across them. Do you know now many people touch a package and if they are having a bad day that can go into the stone. So she makes sure that is all gone.. then says a prayer over them and asks for a blessing from Gaia because they come from the earth and then puts her own level of protection into it. Her magic or energy if you want to call it. This empowers the stones to do what they were meant to do. Every stone has a certain power behind it. Not many people understand this , they think they are just pretty, but to people like us they are more than just a pretty thing to wear.

some information I found on it for you all.. Turquoise is still a valued power stone. It will strengthen and align all of the Chakras; and it can be used to cleanse your energy centers.
