Description

The listing, Floral (shades of red) Pattern Spring Bracelet and French Hook Earring set has ended.

Beautiful Floral (shades of red) Spring Bracelet & Earrings. I was told this looks to have a Cloisonne style enamel (cloisonné- an ancient metalworking technique, is a multi-step enamel process used to produce jewelry, bowls, dishes, vases, and other decorative items.).
Not too sure on this sets origin or how old it is,but think it would definitely catch some eyes! ***FREE SHIPPING***
Thanks for looking!! Happy bidding & Good Luck!!

Nice set Jess, this looks like cloisonne style enamel, you might want to add that to your description before you get bids. The more info the better.

I was thinking about your computer issues. I don't know if you have any money to spend, but you should look at the mini netbooks, which are getting down to $150 or less. They work pretty well, and it's really easy to attach them to a large monitor and USB keyboard/mouse for daily use. It might be worth trying to win some amazon, Best Buy or other gift certificates on here to put toward something like that. Just a thought ...

Oh wow! Thank You for the info. I actually am saving up on Amazon. Was looking at a HP Pavillion (just the tower) It was going to run me close to $300. I never knew you could hook those little critters up to a monitor and keyboard. WOW!

Also,Thank You for the info on the set above. Wasn't too sure on anything about this.I truly think it's a beautiful set, just am not one that's into wearing jewelry. Will definitely add that to the description. (:

You could probably also buy a computer at Walmart, so winning Walmart cards might be a good strategy too.

Re: the monitor. Most netbooks only have HDMI output (but my husband's Toshiba has a regular SVGA output--the same as older computer monitor, and he bought that model because he needs that feature). With only HDMI out on the netbook, you MUST have a DIGITAL monitor and will need an HDMI-to-DVI cable.

So, you can't use your old monitor unless you choose a netbook (or laptop) with SVGA output. But you can also hook a netbook into a television with HDMI, in which case you'd need an HDMI-to-HDMI cable. BUT unless a television is also sold as a monitor, the resolution will be terrible with a computer (i.e. grainy and pixellated). So you'll probably need to buy another monitor too, but if you look around you can probably get a smaller flatscreen monitor cheap, since everyone wants the big ones now.

Honestly, for the cards,I use a search engine and win swagbucks, that's how I get my amazon cards, but you're right..I could look on here or even other sites and see about Walmart cards as well.
I'll have to check out what type of monitor this is. It is fairly new,I broke the one that goes to this computer while moving,so my mother gave me her Dell monitor after she got her laptop. I'll have to cross my fingers that I won't need both a new pc/laptop & monitor (:

If it has both a SVGA and a DVI input, you can use it with a netbook that has HDMI out. If it only has one place to plug in the monitor it's SVGA and can't connect to an HDMI source.

Sounds good. I will check it out this evening. If it doesn't have both input I'll go looking on amazon to find one that does. Either way, getting the netbook and a new monitor would be cheaper than buying a whole new PC. You are an awesome lady,I hope you know that! (:

I'm just glad you could understand all that! If you go into a store that sells netbooks and monitors and ask a salesperson, they can show you exactly what I mean so you can be sure you know what you are doing if you buy online. I'll bet you could get a small monitor, like 15-inch, maybe on craigslist or even on ebay kinda cheap (but check the seller's history before you buy anything like that on ebay, it would have to be packaged very carefully for shipping). Good luck!

Well, you did a great job on explaining exactly what I'd need.I am really slow when it comes to technical stuffs, but,I did understand what all you've said. You kinda put it into Lamens terms for me,which is great!! lol Thanks You so much!!

I still think you should go into a store and get someone to show you what I'm talking about. If you look at the back of your existing monitor, that's an SVGA connection. A DVI connection has more pins. Some monitors have both, so you could hook two computers up to the monitor and toggle between them (my monitor does that). The HDMI-DVI cables tend to be expensive in stores but I've gotten them on Overstock, in a package of two, for less than $10!

Oh yes! I'm going to stop up the road here at BestBuy and talk to the Geek Squad. lol,They may even recognize my voice..lol I call them often.I'll check out the back of my monitor tomorrow before I head up there. Also,I've written down the HDMI-DVI and SVGA to take up there with me so I don't go up there rambling about something crazy and make a fool out of myself.

If the geek you talk to doesn't know what you are talking about IMMEDIATELY, find another geek ... he/she is an imposter!
