Owego is about 30 mins from Binghampton I know you go through Endicott to get there its in Tioga County does that help any? Why move from a warmer state to such a cold state brrr that is why we didn't stay more than a yr there got to cold for my liking and moved back home

We moved up when his mother was diagnosed with sarcoma. We wanted the kids to have time with her.I miss it very much not the humidity so much but the air, the sky is even more detailed there.

Oh ok I totally understand then my hubby is from PA and I'm glad he wanted to get away from cold cause even though I hate humidity i still can't deal with the cold. Lived in Mass for a bit but just got locked out of apt for 2hrs and had mild hypothermia that was enough for me never felt somethin so awful before so haven't been back up north but a few times to visit his family thats all i can deal with and snow grrr hate snow ha ha. Ya'll didn't get much off the hurricane earl up there did you? We didn't get much of anything.

No the hurricane was to far out to the east. We got a little wind but nothing damaging. I hear you on the snow. I freeze all winter and lock myself up in the house. Our kids are used to it now so they dont mind it so much. They run jump and play in the snow while I try to keep feeling in my feet. What part of PA is you husband from.. I have a family plot out there where my father is burried so I am guessing I must have family out there to. I realy miss the flowers trees, and wildlife that thrive in the warmth.

My husband is from Levittown PA right outside of Philly. Yeah snow is pretty but I get cold just lookin at pics of snow ha ha. One good thing about livin up north u have less spiders and such cause they don't care for the cold

Very true my husband was bit by a brown recluse spider while working on a house. He got really sick and had to b hospitalized. I know about seeing pics of snow and getting cold thats the reason I couldnt sit through the movie Titanic. Cold fridged water, icebergs, everyone shivering to much!

ha ha I know what you mean I got cold watchin that movie but still sat through it thats when you get u some coffee afterwards. Recluse spiders are very bad the most poisonous we have down this way at least and black widows aren't much better.
