Okay - I bought this for my hubby's iPhone (3GS), but I held it above his phone and it fits (height & width) but the protector's opening for the ear speaker; it also has a small hole next to it for a rear-facing camera (which the iPhone 3GS is not equipped with anyway)

√ Nowhere on the packaging does it state "what kind" of iPhone it's designed for, I would assume MOsT definitely it is for the iPhone 4 - because the iPhone 5 has a bigger screen.
