I am not sure what the stone is, they are labeled Genuine semi-precious but do not state what the stone is. They are a reddish brown with black in them. Possibly a red jasper stone?
I would describe the metal frame on the earrings as a burnished silver color done in a rope design.
Very pretty and new.
$16 value on card.
Good Sized: A touch over 1" Up and down, and about 3/4" wide. (See 2nd pic, where you can judge the size in my hand)
