The second photo shows the color a little better, but usually when I'm dealing with photos of silver or colorless beads I just desaturate the color out of the photo. Isn't it annoying when so many of your photos come out GREAT and you get a few that just don't seem to get with the program???

I have a small "studo" set up and when I get about 15 pieces made, I take about 200 pics. There are usually usable ones in there! But... there is the one piece I get NOTHING good of and have to save it for the next "set up". UGGGGG!

Oh I hate that. I do the same thing, take a couple hundred photos at a time and sometimes a whole string of photos is just BAD--bad lighting, out of focus and I didn't notice (my eyes have gotten really bad lately). Sometimes I end up using the photos anyway, then just don't get as many credits as they should.
