I scanned the user manual for this phone, but couldn't find: Speaker. Does this phone not have a Speaker Phone option?? Thanks

I'm pretty sure it does, but it is not a phone I've used so I don't know positively. But I've not seen a cell phone yet which doesn't have a speaker. I can hear the speaker sounds when the phone is turned on and off. I also have a Samsung flip phone that I use personally which is very similar and it has a speaker phone, as does my husband's same brand, different model cell phone.

I don't know what that means. Is has to be cleared? The person who had it bought a new phone so they didn't want this one any more. Does that make it "cleared" or is that something that has to be done through Cingular/AT&T?

Well I tried to check that out but it no longer has a sim card in it. The call center at AT&T is currently closed. I'll try calling Cingular.

when the original owner activated the phone the esn is associated with the person. If they let the contract expire the phone is still in their name and the carrier will not activate it until the owner clears it with them. Other wise it could be lost or stolen as far as Cingular/AT&T is concerned...

It is cleared for AT&T. They said it is not reported as stolen and that I can do whatever I want with it including selling it.
