I have a pair of waterproof I guess hiking type boots size 8. They tie and zip on the side. They are in good condition just a couple of either water marks or scuffs on the toe part but if you look at the bottom they have a ton of wear left in them. It doesn't even look like they were worn if you check the bottoms. They are smart fit brand I think it says. Someone gave them to my son but they were too small he tried to get them on his feet. I know they come from a clean smoke free home. Your little guy can be stomping in water puddles by the end of the month.
