the sciphones "iPod knock offs" are GSM and can be used with carriers like T mobile, A T& T and straightalk I believe but carriers like Sprint, Verizon, Cricket and metro Pcs are CDMA so the sciphone won't work on them. Sorry to say but omg some of you are lazy.... learn to do your own research before bidding on something that you know nothing about.... its pretty funny how some people on here ask the same questions that's been asked 6 times and find looking into something to be to difficult of a task...

i think what the above are trying to ask you is.. how do you know which ones (sim) are unlocked as in when you buy them is it ready to use. can you guarantee this or are you assuming this will work? the description seems to me a bit vague..

never heard of a unlocked sim card, only activated sim card,

cricket doesnt use a sim card. they use cdma phones, right?

interbay, cricket doesn't use SIM cards your confusing people. the only locked SIM cards are tracfone. these SIM cards net10, simple mobile, TMOBILE, AT&T, h20, jolt, blackwireless, mobal, ultra, air voice, sky view will all work with this Chinese iphone

there is a sim card that is used to unlock some phones, but you should look it up.
so you can use any gsm sim card from a service provider, you get a sim card from a service provider you want to use,,, have you used this phone?? who was the service provider you used if you used this phone,

i was just giving examples of companies and please look up the term unlocked sim card com on im not going to do everything for you you have fingers and a computer look it up

yes this will work with any company with a sim card like cricket t mobile excetra as long as the sim card is unlocked the store will let you know more about an unlocked sim card is if they cary them t mobile would be the best one to use
