The listing, Limoges (France) Porcelain Goldette Portrait Pin has ended.

Limoges made in France Porcelain Goldette signed portrait pin/brooch. The back is signed in gold lettering "Made in France" Limoges

It has the hallmark stamped Goldette on the back with a R in a circle.

I think they call this transfer with hand painted accenting.

The size is approx 1& 1/2" by 1 &1/8"

there is such a thing as sellers remorse isnt there. I saw the comment about how old this was so i enlarged the picture to look at the back. This is a piece made around 1950. they used this mark and design from around 1949- the mid 50s wonderful piece market value any where from 35 to 50 dollars. i sold mine for 45. these are highly collectable. blessings to you

I agree there is a lot of seller's remorse...I still wish I had kept the foo dog..lol..Oh well I guess we just have to be really certain in what we list. My Mom was big in the Grange and The Order of the Eastern Star. When ever she dressed up she would wear this brooch.. I hope you can find one and can replace yours. Blessings to you and hugs.

This is beautiful! I hope this isn't rude to ask, but is there any chance of shipping to Canada? I know that is says no international shipping, but I've often discoverd that many sellers don't mind shipping to Canada, it's just that they don't want to have to send it super-far, like England or India or something. :-)
