This is a 4th generation 32gb iPod Touch. There are some scratches on the back silver part, but there are no visible scratches on the screen.

No. It's 32 gb. It just has the back of an 8GB. I repair electronics and I don't think it is worth buying a new back just because the etched number is different. I will take a screen shot of the "About" menu for you though.
