I'm shocked to see idiots posting nasty comments here. Where else are you going to get such a gorgeous piece for free? Then I look at the people who have nothing nice to say....and I see they're selling nothing, or emery boards or stolen recipes from foodnetwork.com. so its obvious they're just jealous they cant afford it. I have a Tiffany bracelet up for sale & I got a few of the same type of douchebags...either the broke ones selling tweezers who are angry that they cant afford it or even worse....the ones who come there & plant doubt that its real in hopes to scare away other bidders so they can come in at the end and snipe it for less.
I had a sweet lady tonight post a similar to this comment to remind me that for every jerk on Listia there are 10 sweethearts. I wanted to share that sentiment with you because your auction rocks and I want to thank you for posting it. =)

Thank you for taking the time to post this. You're 100% correct. For this auction, one individual, bid on the item and they posted negative comments about it in the hopes of winning in for cheaper. Please private message me for the name if you wish. I don't want you to have to deal with this person. Good luck bidding and you also have very nice items up for auction.

Why would you give away an Emerald on Listia worth so much money? It does not make sense.

That's simply not true. I'm the only owner of this emerald since it was originally cut. I'm not sure how you could possibly know more about the stone than I do and say it gets around. Not true.

Ive learned to bid in the last 60 seconds saves time and credits, but i guess i AM THE only one who has the patience to not overbid and spend more than necessary. iF EVERYONE learned to bid in the last say 5 minutes you'd be doing really good and getting stuff for less and saving CREDITS instead of inflating the price. Just saying. good luck with the auction hope you get the million credits your looking for. ITS A BEAutiful item! :-)

So is this a lab created/synthetic emerald or a natural emerald? I see the certificate however, it is my understanding and by your description it is "ENHANCED"! It is enhanced how color etc? Do you know? Thanks for the info?

This is a GENUINE emerald as stated in the auction. Enhanced doesn't mean synthetic.

they fan you because they like your auctions and want to see more of what you have to offer...they watch because they may bid later, or to keep tabs on the auction...it's not a waste of time at all!

Beautiful! Could you post a picture of it with a common object, like a coin, just for size reference. I can't even imagine 826 carats!

wyldaeval...not sure exactly why you'd call me a jerk over asking a simple question...i really have no idea what a gem of that size looks like in comparison...even with the measurements, as the gem isn't a square or round shape. but, whatever...guess asking questions just upsets some sellers

Would really need to see the actual item with your seller name on it to bid high. It doesn't take but a min to take a photo like that even if it isn't such a great one as long as it gets on here accordingly. Think of all the time you would save replying to all the comments.
