Description

The listing, Pastel multi colored chemo cap has ended.

I began making these caps when I was chemo-bald. More comfortable and lighter than a wig, but they made me smile when I looked in the mirror--something I badly needed! I wear them now on bad hair days. This one is a light weight one, great for summer. Fits average size head. Note: Color is bright rose and blues. One of the prettiest caps I've made! US shipping included. PLEASE NOTE: Lately, people have been asking me to ask for fewer credits. I'm sorry but these take hours to make. I donate most of what I make to charity now. I tried selling these for less and they just aren't worth it. Most people are reasonable; I hope there are no misunderstandings.

hopeforall: I just finished today's rounds of doctor's and lab visits and I'm exhausted. I'll get the pictures of the other hats up tomorrow.

I have great fun making these when I'm recovering from chemo--and looks like I'll need to get my old ones (and a few new) out to wear again, too. I donate to cancer centers and charity bazaars, too. Plan to do a few more small ones for children's centers and will save a few for here, too.

Can this be worn as a hat? Will it fit over hair?

The reason I learned to make these was that I didn't like the snoods (hot) hat wigs (also hot and scratchy) and regular hats either didn't hug tight enough, fit way too low on my head and I don't like scarves. :-)
Yes, these can be worn over hair...great for costumes or just bad hair days. I have a friend who's married to a minister who gets early morning company. She wears them until after breakfast.
