Phoenix Brand Telephoto Lense 1000mm with 2x converter
This 500mm 18.0 preset lens, fully automatic and incorporates not only computer optical design but the latest optical multi-coating techniques. The process of multi coating allows virtually flare free photographs even under adverse lighting conditions. This results in crisp, high contrast pictures. A preset lens is designed to retain a full range of exposure. ~ copied from the booklet that comes with it~
I purchased this for someone who already had one, and since I did not own a camera for it, I decided to sell it. The camera I got it for is a Nikon D-40 but the instruction booklet says it will also work with Pentax U, Pentax PK, Canon, Minolta, Olympus, Konica, Yashica, Jujica. I'm not experienced with cameras, so can only tell you what the instruction book tells me about this item. The large lens (as pictured) has a drawstring bag, as pictured under the lens. Converter has no bag, just in the original box (converter pictured next to lense) It has a Nikon mount for an SLR camera.

Yes a total horse person! The one in my pic, I have owned him for 12 years come May. He is my best friend. I do a lot of equine photography and all other photography and this lens would be incredible to have.... Crossing my fingers I can win it, I'm listing stuff like crazy

love your location, it so beautiful up that way. I would say im jealous but the Stanislaus National Forest and Yosemite are pretty much my back yard so i cant complain. Nice auction, i would bid but cant use that there lens. :(

Thanks, It has been home for us since we were born and We do love Washington state!! Your place sounds great too tho! Do you see alot of wild life at your place? We just has a couple of Moose here yesterday afternoon, those animals are not spooked by anything. But they don't bother us at all, just pass thru, so I get out there and take pics when I can. LOVE getting pics of the wild critters I do!!! I wish my camera took this lens, but it doesn't. I am a lame-o photographer, mine does not have a removable lens, but works well for my purposes!

Thank You, I agree, the horse days were for sure Happier times. Maybe because horses and animals in general don't judge people? I am not able to care for horses anymore, but have 2 who live next door that I can visit with, so that is nice. Plus of course horse movies! yes I am a big kid and most likely always will be :) I love you sweet kitty cat picture :)

Aw, that's a bummer!! Been there tho, and it's the worst when it's something you really want or need. You might look into getting reconditioned camera with zoom from the factory, they cost less but are like a new camera. I received a nice one for Christmas called a Coolpix L810(Nikon) I LOVE it and it zooms right up on a critter or bird...or people :) I don't know how much $ it was tho. I had an old auto focus camera that is starting to have troubles and my best friend in the whole world knew I was sad about it, so got me the Coolpix.

No idea, as stated I only know what it says in the manual ,and all that is printed in my ad. Tho another Listian put that it will work on a Nikon D3100 in addition to other they listed in a message...I have not a clue if your camera is the D3100. I am also going on the assumption that the person who stated this info is accurate, I do not know them personally.

I think those 2 cameras(D-60 and D-40) have the same mount. It has a Nikon mount for an SLR camera.
