Questions & Comments
Where the numbers are, does it look like "925", ".925" or ".925."?
Went on the net, found a homemade cleaning solution for tarnished silver, and it shines like new now. The oval circle following the numbers 925 seems to have a letter in it. Not sure, but think its either a (B) or an (O)...
Update: Since others have been asking me if there were any markings in any of my other listed rings, I went ahead and ckecked this one too. Yes, it does have the numbers 925 and another oval looking mark with a letter that I can't make out.
Really simple... Salt, baking soda, aluminum foil, and boiling water. Place the aluminum foil shinny side up in a baking pan or dish. Mix about 2 Tbs of salt and 2 tbs of baking soda in a small pot of water and bring to a boil.Lay the silver on top of the foil (shinny side up) and pour in the boiling mixture. Make sure it covers all the silver; and don't let any of the silver touch each other. Let the mixture cool on its own. Then, just take the silver out and wipe it with a cloth or small brush.
Oval shaped shortest side (side to side) is about a half inch or better. The longest side (top to bottom) is about three quarter inch or better, and tha thickness is about one eight inch thick or better. Hope that helps!
