The listing, Purple Red Sapphire Ring has ended.

This is a purple/red sapphire ring size 7 mounted in 14kt gold plated wire wrap. The stone was mined myself at Sheffield Ruby Mine in Franklin NC in the late 80's.

I worked at a ruby mine and still have cans of uncut ones all around but where I live you find all kinds of things, rubies, sapphires, crystals, rhodolite garnets and indian pottery and arrowheads. It's always a thrill to find them. I'm quite the rockhound!
