The listing, Litey Leash the Nighttime Leash (BNIP) has ended.

I have up for Auction a (BNIP) Green Litey Leash. This leash is for dogs of all sizes. It is 5ft long and appropriate for dogs of all sizes (up to 90 pounds). There are two Modes: Steady or Blinking. This leash is visible from up to 1/4 mile away in the dark. There is a automatic shut-off after 20 minutes. It is also water resistant, but do not submerge in water. Runs on 3 AAA alkaline batteries (batteries included). Powerful LED lights run the entire length of the leash. Batteries should last more than three months with normal use. It also has a Handle strap for secure grip. My leash that I had my grandkids model is pink but the one up for auction is green. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!

I got some at the Flea Markets here in Florida. Someone was having a closing sale and I got a few. They are really cool. I like walking my dog Chyna towards the evening and by the time I'm almost home it's dark so I turn on this Leash and it really works! I get stopped by everyone because they want one too. Shirley

I guess if you got a clear tubing like fish tanks use but wide enough for the leash to fit into then use good old duck tape . It might then be able to use in the rain. Just guessing I live in the NW and we have not had a dry day now for over 3 weeks. can't bid but was just day dreaming.

They work really well when you walk in the early evening and it starts getting a little dark. I even walk a little later when it is dark and it really works great.

Yeah I have been down to Halifax Humane society in daytona beach (hi neighbor!) and looked at dogs but, i don't want to get anything until I am able to get out of my mother's house. She has a very ill mannered Rat Terrier i am fearful would pass on his awful behaviors :( Regardless a shelter dog would be my way to go, and an older one at that!
