It doesn't specify an age that I know of anyway. My 4 year old niece enjoyed working on it with some adult help, and my 5 and 8 year old nephews were able to do it with no help. The 5 and 8 year old were able to match up numbers, which is the only part the 4 year old had trouble with. Hope that helps!

Maybe will be too advanced for a 3 1/2 years old boy, although he is very smart!

he might enjoy it with some help, but at 3 1/2 I think matching up where the they go would be frustrating without help!!
