This is a nice large cocktail ring. NEW. Silver tone metal setting (electroplated). Oval shaped man made opal or moon stone. "Eye" shaped cut outs at the sides. Sz.19 (Germany) that equal to USA Sz. 9 (according the table of sizes). The "opal" is approx. 1" x 5/8". Will come in a small ring box. FREE shipping in USA.

So what is it? An opal or a moon stone? It looks like glass, and definitely not an opal.

This is not a natural opal or moonstone. The title and description said that this is "Man Made" opal or moon stone. I do not know the content of this material. It looks like " pale opal" or "moon stone" - may be has silica in it. Feels like glass, "milk in water" - semi sheer. But I am not sure that this is glass. This is NOT plastic or acrylic.
