this is a mac book clear case that snaps on to prtect you beautiful amazing MAc, But is for the NEW modals that came out in late 2009/2010. They are a tad bigger. I bought my mac book 2 years ago and it does not fit. RetAILS in apple for $30 I had a friend bring me back one from CHINA .. yes he did! It did not fit!!!! So, you can have it if it fits..... good luck
