This is my own "reward" auction! I love this great site & its members so decided to offer an item that has yet to be listed by a trusted & honest seller before now! =)

This auction is for a BRAND NEW Apple iPad Mini 16 GBs WIFI ONLY in the color of your choice, black/slate OR white/silver!

A 350$ value incl. tax!

Please don't ask for a photo of the actual item, as I'll be having this item purchased & shipped directly to the winner from either Walmart's site, Apple's site, or a reputable seller on eBay, whichever is cheapest and/or fastest at the time.

I'll be updating the listing a day or two before it ends showing a pic of my paypal account (that I have a debit card with) with a balance at or exceeding the 350$ that's set aside to spend for the winner.

I've had items (adult bikes) shipped directly to the winners of auctions here from retail sites before I even had 10 seller FBs! So it's not new to me & IS allowed by Listia. Yep, this valentine’s day, I’ll be single as a Pringle, but hey, nobody said you can’t fall in love with food! From a rate of 1-10, I would say I feel an awkwardness level of around 8.7. Amazing auction! I got an ipad mini for xmas and I LOVE it! The winner will be SO happy!! As a free-market capitalist I'm appalled at some of these comments. Credits are a currency. how is it a fair chance when someone already bid over 400,000 credits, I know I can't touch that, and by the looks of it ,neither can most people. But I guess that's how the game goes sometimes.

Actually, I think it is a pretty fair chance. This listing will have been up for 15 days when it ends. I've seen people accumulate 1 million credits in 2 weeks, much less around 450k, you'd be surprised at how many people on this site can "touch" this auction if they wanted to...... and for a few it would hardly make a dent in their listia savings... and even if you're not one of those people yet.......waiting till an auction begins to start saving up credits to get it is not very smart....just like I wouldn't wait for when I see rainy days on the news forecast to start a rainy-day fund if you know what I mean.......

In all honesty, if I had put a gin on this auction when it started, it probably would've been for 350 max....in that case, the first person to know what a good deal is when they see it...and have the credits available...would've snatched it up.....so that listing would've pretty much been about who was browsing the website at the time for this particular item....pretty much all about "luck".....
By me NOT adding a gin, I've made this listing not about luck but about who wants it bad enough. Someone could have more than enough credits just sitting there but if they don't want this item bad enough or at all to spend over 400k of their credits on it...they're not gonna bid....
Or someone could not have enough credits to get this....and if they don't want it bad enough, they're not gonna bother putting in the effort/items to try to win it.

Saying this listing isn't fair because of how high it has gotten is about as logical as me saying that it's not fair that I can't afford a Benz when my neighbors can....

So you're right, that's just how the game goes sometimes, that doesn't make it less fair than if I had added a gin. If I want that Benz, I'm gonna have to want it bad enough to earn whatever amount they're selling them for.

I can't believe this auction has been up for so many days & this is the 1st time I've seen it!! I'm addicted to Listia & spend A LOT of time browsing auctions. Not that I could bid on it cause I myself am a newbie lol but I have a bunch of stuff I am slowly putting up so I can do free shipping w/out going broke..I have a couple lots I wanna do & I would have put them up a while ago had I seen this-lesson learned not to wait!!

Being a relative newbie on here I am still figuring things out. And hope to be able to do great auctions like this & others ive seen. But I don't understand why some people get so upset about auctions that go high up in the bidding..I mean u put in your highest bid but only the highest amount needed to win the auction is taken so how is it that people can be blaming you for how high the bids go when you have no control over that & Bama for bidding so high..her bid will only go higher if others bid so she puts her Max bid in & is only outbid if someone bids higher than her Max bid, so how is she doing anything wrong!! She just really wants this & has earned the credits with her many AWESOME auctions so she can bid as high as she wants!!

THIS IS AN AUCTION SITE PEOPLE WHICH = BIDDING!! IF YOU DONT LIKE THE WAY AUCTIONS WORK THEN DONT JOIN AN AUCTION SITE!!

Well said! Agree on all of your points. I'm not gonna worry much about the people complaining, as they are usually the ones who barely or never list items themselves anyways. I don't' know why they expect to win anything at all while going by that method, much less this listing. One of the people who have been listing hundreds of amazing items/lots is going to win on a bidding site over someone who had never listed anything ....WHAT A SHOCKER LOL

Thanks! =) I'm really not sure why listia isn't listing them considering they used to have more valuable regular iPads listed in their reward store. They were for a hefty 450k credits if I remember correctly, but that still beats paying 500+ tax on one at a retailer. Maybe they'll start putting up mini's later this year, who knows.
