I am not sure he has a leapster 2 I don't know anything about compatibility with other systems.

My son has a Leapster 2 and a Leapster GS. They both came out at the same time. One is more like a handheld video game system such as a PS vista and the other is like a tablet such as the iPad. They both play the same cartridges. Does this cartridge fit into your son's Leap Pad 2?

Lol I wish you could edit these comments because I keep noticing my mistakes. My son doesn't have a Leapster 2 he has a Leap Pad 2. The cartridges for his Leap Pad 2 and his Leapster GS are lime green and look the the one listed in your auction but now that I think about it I'm pretty sure they are thinner. Well it was worth a shot. Thank you anyway.
