the potential bidder,bids want he wants-you can place a maximum bid and the system bids up to that amount ,if someone bids more than your maximum bid ,you can bid again until the auction closes

So, when do i get to set a maximum bid, after Iv'e paced a bid that is higher than someone else's maximum? I'm new at this and don't see the option for setting a maximum.

just put in the amount you would like to bid---hit bid--then hit submit-under the current bid you will see {lightly}your maximum bid
