Not to be rude, but even if you offer free shipping and this auction doesn't come to the winner or comes broken, lost or is stolen, the Winner has all rights to request a refund for credits. You can not refuse a refund based on free shipping.
If I am wrong and Listia has a rule stating we are NOT allowed to get a refund on free shipping with items buyers win please do show me.

I do not feel the need to show you anything about Listia rules, only what my auction terms are... that way if you don't agree then you should not bid. so I will reword myself in the auction, just so that everyone is clear. I am making it clear that I am not issuing any refunds for buyers remorse. I see on other people's auctions "please outbid me, I don't want this any more" and stuff like like that. I think it's absurd to expect your credits back if you changed your mind AFTER you bid. If the item arrived damaged or not as advertised, then Listia would totally give a refund to you.. but I am not worried about that because I take great care in my listings and doing my packaging. I did have someone want a refund because they didn't want to pay the shipping fee which was clear in the auction details. That wasted my time, because they shouldn't have bid if they didn't want to pay shipping. So with this auction I am offering free shipping and also no refunds. Plain and simple... there's no need for you to complicate it.

You also have the right to say that if for some reason you couldn't afford to pay for tracking, and the buyer wanted it, that they would be responsible for paying for it. Otherwise, once item is out of your hands, you have no control over it and therefore would not issue a refund because the buyer chose not to pay for tracking. That's just another instance where you could reject a refund, Could be a disclaimer for you, although Listia would still side with them, it's always good to cover yourself.

True. Listia sides with people who have received their item and then want a refund... and my items are all brand new and high end. Scammers ruin this experience for trusted people like us.

If you don't include tracking, then yes, they will still side with the winner, if the winner says they didn't receive it. It doesn't matter if they are being dishonest or not. I had a girl one time win a nice bracelet off of me for 3000 credits... And I sent her item out, just like I did everyone else's, Everyone else got their item, and she claimed not to have. I had not put tracking on it, so needless to say, she did get her credits back. I did not receive the full 3000 credits. Listia awarded me 1000 because of my positive feedback and gave me a free premium auction worth 2000, but it still was not the same to me, and I was out of a bracelet. I went and checked her feedback and apparently she had done the same thing to other people NUMEROUS times... SO I blocked her. It's bad when you can't trust people. But just remember now, that if you mail from the post office, tracking is automatically included at no extra charge. The delivery confirmation number will print on your receipt :)
