Especially since the main caption reads Galaxy Shoes, doesn't say DIY auction until after you've passed the part where you bid. This is one of the most deceiving auctions I've seen in awhile.

especially since the pic is of a pair of Tom's. of course that will catch someone's eye. how horrible that this is allowed. DIY auctions should be forbidden

The whole point of uploading pictures is to catch someone's eye. A lot of people enjoy DIY auctions. If you don't agree with them, don't pay attention to them.

This should say instructions to make your own. I was looking for shoes and actually thought these were shoes not instructions. I'm glad for comments. Not many know what DIY means. I agree there are way too many of these type lately and have to wade through all to find good auctions. Maybe if we all email support and ask they have their own listing area it would help.

it's a DIY witch means they EMAIL the instructions on HOW TO DO this on shoes.

I feel like these shouldn't even be allowed on Listia because it gives so many MIXED signals to users.

I've done it a couple times with my friends, and it's really fun if you do it in a group of people. It's fun to have a paint fight with the leftover paint. (:
