not real sure but it has 4 ethernet ports to hard wire your pc/laptop

plus i am sure if you have wifi on the acer the router will take care of that if you have internet provider

if you have internet service at your home, it converts it to wifi, for your laptops, ps3, xbox 360 etc. plus it has 4 ethernet ports to hard wire your cpu/ laptop etc.
