These earrings were originally silver plated. I spray painted the connectors flat black then I sanded through the black and through the silver plating to reveal the base copper underneath. The result was, in my opinion, very pretty. Hanging from the connectors are small flat (dull) black seed beads and 4mm crystals in a cranberry color and a goldish color.
