Size 3 halti is for SHORT nosed breeds. This is the size I use on my Shar Pei. The 3 is bigger around at the muzzle for dogs who have a short but fat muzzle :-)

Read the whole booklet that it come with , does not talk about weight , just says what breed 3 fits , afghan , chow chow , Dalmatian , Doberman , Weimaraner , Greyhound , Shepherd .
