Where the Red Fern Grows, part 2 is a continuation of the classic novel, a story as magical as the original. In this episode Billy Coleman returns from WWII to his grandfather's home in Louisiana and tries to readjust to civilian life. But the killing he witnessed in the war, along with the fact he has lost a leg to an enemy bullet, have embittered him. Billy receives a pair of Redbone hound puppies from his grandfather and befriends a young neighbor boy, Wilson. Could the love and caring of Billy's best friends help him rediscover himself? Rated G. This was such a good movie i liked the 1st also the orgn. one i remember in school watching the movie and then had to do a book report on it.... We had name out 2 choc labs little ann and old dan when we got them... so sweeet but sad to ty...and hope they bid high
