Yes, its a small tv , Nice for the kitchen as this does have the HD tuner built into it. You can hook up rabbit ears and search over the air channels with out having a hd box to pick up the hd local channels.

Yes. Dvd player does work great. All Controls are on top of tv with play button on side where dvd player is.
There is no Remote Control with this tv.
