The listing, 1944 ORIGINAL president election DEWEY BRICKER political campaign lapel tab unfolded FDR Roosevelt has ended.
Offered is an ORIGINAL approx. 1 " lapel or pocket tab that promoted Thomas DEWEY and John BRICKER as the Republican candidates for President and Vice President against FDR Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1944.
Dewey had been Governor New York and Bricker the Governor of Ohio. Bricker thereafter started a law firm in Columbus.
As this is a lithographed pin there appears to be original paint smear during its manufacture.
The top of the tab shows the manufacturer Bastian Brothers Co. of Rochester, NY with union bug.
