Nice antique Hannah & Hogg 2 ounce, 90 proof straight whiskey jug from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Distilled by the Hannah & Hogg Distillery in Chicago, IL. Jug measures 4 1/2" top to bottom.. The bottom has no chips/significant wear. It is in very fine condition. The slip or glaze on the neck and handles if commonly referred to as Albany slip from the Albany NY region although there is no way to know this jug was made there. The glaze was made by numerous companies across the country and continues to be made today. The jug is an original. All lettering intact as made.
