i am so sorry for taking so long to answer. i do belive that this will work for any ipad. I had babies in and out of hospital and our basement flooded that is why it took a day and a half to get back with you.

I had to open it to check because it has never been opened. I have had this for about 4months and it just laid around. yes it has slots. the box says Apple ipad, if that makes a difference? (Technocel High silicone cover) it is not for a cell phone it is for an ipad.
