Oh no...that is when I do not like being on here when it is late. Honey, I do not live anywhere near the UK, and am on Disability and no have no means in which to get there. If you want me to pay shipping if/when I win, I will do that, rather than 'stiff' you.
It was this bead right here that grabbed my attention! I will pay flat rate shipping or full-whichever is cheaper. 1st class would be best as small as these items are.

You know Listia will want me to refund your credits, I would want me to refund your credits, so you will not lose out totally. I hope you can come up with a way to ship 1st class, unless you cannot do this overseas. People often don't mind paying a dollar or two, just to offset your cost. It's the local pick up-as most people on Listia are from the USA, that will actually hurt you more! I would pay a dollar to get this bead! if you want to relist it with a small shipping cost.

Hi, I don't see that I've done anything wrong, so I shouldn't be "hurt", I fully understand that Listia seems to originate in the U.S.A. & that listing items for pick-up only in the U.K. clearly isn't practical for someone from America. It is clear to me that Listia accepts people joining from overseas. As Listia expands there will be more scope for international trading & local pick-up within peoples country of listing. Is there a way either you or I can remove your bid/s? I'm not personally bothered about the odd credit point here & there, I didn't use any credits to list, so I don't understand the credit refund you mention. Slow shipping is approx.; $6.50 to your location which clearly makes it not practical. Is there a way I can end the listing & prevent you from winning it? regards.

Oh no Trevor, you did nothing "wrong"!!! I am just saying that is their policy. Otherwise it will go on my record as a no-pay. I do not have ANYTHING against people from other Countries joining Listia. I think it's about time more and more do: for the diversity alone! And yes, the local pick up will becoe practical when more people from the UK join, and every other Country. Customs alone make it so difficult to ship overseas. I have one sweet lady who is from Belgium who asks if I-and many others-could ship to Belgium if she pays the cost. I am going to look into the ifs and ands of what it would take next time, as it just isn't fair!
So no! Please don't take what I told you as criticism, it is just the Listia policies, and I sure as heck would have NO problem refunding you 2 credits!

I, myself, am going to begin encouraging commerce between the countries by shipping to them, if they offer to pay at least half the postage. We are Global now, and I feel people here need to catch up with the current state of affairs! So I am behind you 100%.
And I think that if you prefer to end the listing due to a misunderstanding, that they would be amenable to that. Whichever you prefer. No hard feelings WHATSOEVER!
