The listing, Apple iPhone 3G Smart Phone 8GB Black with Case & Charger has ended.

Used iPhone 3G 8GB smart phone. I previously had this hooked up with AT&T. I'm giving this away because I upgraded to a iPhone 4G. The phone works, but the one issue it has is that the volume button on the outside of the phone doesn't work. You're able to go into settings to adjust volumes for the phone. The iPhone comes with a case and charger. The charger works great, but is in rough condition. Don't miss your chance to own a free iPhone.

Can you take it to a place with free wi-fi and take a picture of it with something off the internet so that people see that it can be used for wi-fi? I'm a little bit scared now that I might win it, and it's not a very exciting picture. It kind of makes me think that it doesn't really work. You might get more people bidding higher if there were a nice picture of it working properly maybe with the date or some news stories on yahoo or some internet website with news stories maybe of the snow storms on the east coast or something. Just a suggestion.

FYI if someone is planning to use this on straight talk the iPhone does NOT need to be unlocked. Straight talk uses AT&T towers and no unlock is needed. I know several people who use straight talk with phones locked to AT&T and have no problems activating their straight talk sim in the AT&T phones.
