Description

The listing, 1966 UN Peso has ended.

I don't know much about coins. The little research i did this coin is 40%-60% silver. Coin is in decent shape for age. Slightly tarnished. The last picture is from Google so you can have a better view. Feel free to ask any questions.

They are worth more in silver than they are to a collector with 30,998,000 being minted they are very common at current silver prices they are worth around a $1.60 silver melt value but with everyone hoarding silver I've seen them sell for $2-$4. You'll see these on eBay over priced. The coin should also have the words INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD on the edge of the coin.

Well, I don't know much about foreign (non-USA) coins, however, I do know a gentleman who is extremely knowledgeable about all types of currency, as currency is both his job and hobby. I'd just recently won a lot of 3 Widow's Mites from him. I don't know how you feel about people recommending other people in your auctions, so I'll send you a private message with his profile info. He's always very helpful and extremely kind. =)
