Description

The listing, Transformers watch has ended.

Transformers Watch in Red. In great condition. Needs new battery. Pre-Takara quartz version much rarer than others.
Excellent Condition.
Circa 1982. He needs a home where people could marvel at his awesomeness. He would prefer to have been a red car, but destiny made him a red robot/watch.
He has a tiny dark spot on his display on the top left but he hopes you won't judge hime for this.
Nothing broken or missing.
Joints mostly very tight. I would even go so far to say he has a stiff neck from being a square and not getting down more often, but it was because he listened to glam rock in the eighties. Now he is mostly a poser.
It seems he was well protected from the golden eye blast of the 80's, 90's, and 00's
He hopes to mesmerize you with his redness.
Free shipping within the states only.

Fanned and watching! This is one of the cutest TF's I've ever seen. I think he'd be fun to wear at conventions.

I find these transformers to be amazing because people somehow forgot they existed. Its cool when you see something you forgot about after so many years. I'm glad they don't make things like this anymore because they always recycle ideas.

Just did a little research--turns out this lil' guy isn't a Transformer, but he does originate from the same Japanese toy line that gave us the first two waves of the original Transformers toys. This watch, and its multicolored cousins, was part of a line called "Kronoform".
http://www.retrothing.com/2008/08/kronoform-watch.html
This watch was also used as a promotional item for many snacks and candies, like Bonkers, and was also offered as a mail-away item in some comic books.
(Also, upon further research, it turns out this red one, and its blue brother, are knockoffs of Kronoform that were those same mail-away offers I mentioned.

I won't tell red that. Although he hides his disappointment pretty well. Retrothing.com is cool.

I must have missed that. It seems right though because Takara made these too.

no worries maliklacyii, MrFleamar won't lay down that many credits... but I will :-)

I just sold one of these and sent it out today, also a red one. Maybe I'll bid and get this one for cheaper :-)

Also Flemar.. don't forget, this came in grey too
