The listing, Lovely Vintage Pearls Double Strand Necklace Sterling Clasp has ended.

This is a beautiful necklace of what I assume are glass pearls. The clasp is marked sterling, so you KNOW this wasn't a "cheap" piece of jewelry. The longer strand measures about 21-1/2" long. The largest pearls at the bottom measure about 10 mm.

This is just a classic piece of fine costume jewelry. If I had to put a date on it, I would guess the ealry 1960s when pearls were very popular because Jackie Kennedy wore them all the time.

I almost wanted to be a smart aleck and say "pearl color", but I realized they are different shades, lol. They are a very nice, creamy white, not TOO bright, and not yellow at all........almost like eggshell.
