I have a well worn paperback copy of 1-2-3 Magic-Effective Discipline for Children 2-12-Training Your Children to Do What You Want. This is a good parenting book to help parents quit yelling and nagging when their kids are whining and stalling. It was recommended to me by a children's counselor and I bought it used. There is a lot of good useful information included with this technique for discipline. The cover is in rough shape but all pages are intact.
