The listing, Classic Quilt Instruction Brochures has ended.
You get 4 of these large cardstock brochures. Each one shows you how to construct a different quilt: Courthouse Step, Irish Chain, Three by Three, Crayon Box. They were designed for using Olfa or EZ type cutting wheels and mats, but of course they will work with shears. You don't use paper patterns, you use a ruler or plastic measuring grid to make the patchwork pieces, and you end up with much more neat and accurately cut patchwork. All brochures tell you how to make Lap, Twin, and Queen sizes. Most of the instructions are for the piecing of the top, but there are also very useful tips for adding borders, basting, quilting and binding. Most logical quilt making system I've ever seen.
