Description

The listing, RE:LIST ESINBERG BROOCH (READ) has ended.

I am re-listing this brooch in order too gain back some of my credits! I purchased this from a LISTIA SELLER who did not disclose this brooch was missing (8) small rhinestones!
She claimed you would have too be a jeweler too tell and used age as an excuse! I will not REFUND CREDITS for this item as I am stating what the previous seller never stated too me! This item in in current condition still retails over $100.00 It is lovely! I just want everyone too know it has those (8) missing stones!~ It is a 1930's signed twice EISENBERG BROOCH! I paid 33,185 credits! For this piece! Item is as described in auction I included more photos as you can see how small the stones are! NO REFUNDS ALL LISTIA RULES APPLY!

Well, if it was in excellent condition the brooch could have been worth 1,000 or more! I think it is just best too let people know what you are in fact getting and not be a cheat! It is still valued at a great price after I had too call around a couple of friends it is just the more ethical too be honest and not send excuses! I mean I decided not too even waste my time on refund with this seller as it was one excuse after another! I hope KARMA shows up and it will! What goes around always comes around!

That stinks! So sorry that happened! It is nice. Would it be possible to have a jeweler replace the missing stones?

Yes, I am sure it is but just very time consuming....!

I cannot absolutely believe the nerve of some people...just imagine what would have happened to her on ebay if she pulled that nonsense on you, darling...Age is not an excuse, trust me - I know. It's still a beautiful piece. Hope you get your credits back.

I think about it and realize more needs to be done with Listia! People need held accountable for their auctions. The site needs better policing by mods and not by active and avid great sellers and buyers.

I once asked a seller of a small lot about a bracelet clasp and then she disclosed it was missing! Hope u got your credits back!

No actually I did not! I filed a dispute but I cancelled it! The reason being is it would take longer too get my credits back than it would too re-list and make a few! The seller told me if I sent $100 too her paypal account she would return credits! She is just a horrible person and I know I am better than that so I intended too leave negative feedback on her page as she well deserved!

Well we all get stung and learn lessons! I gave a new seller a chance (risky) and received a smashed to bits porcelain pendant today in a letter size envelope!
I do think things are getting better than when I started 1 year ago. I nearly quit it altogether for all the trash I got and poor packaging as well- Brains stuffed with rocks! I sure hope you do well, are the missing stones small chatons or?
