Annual ( one season plant ); Perennial ( permanent plant- in warm climates ) A dwarf bushy plant with beautiful clusters of white, pink, and purple shades Excellent in borders, rock gardens, mixtures, and flower beds. A great cut flower for bouquets. Easy to grow and blooms 2 months after germination.

Optimum Soil Temp. for Germination: 68F-80F
Planting Depth: 1/16 inch
Spacing, Seed: 1-2 inches
Spacing, Plant: 6-10 inches
Plant Height: 6 inches
Light: Full Sun/Partial Sun

SOWING: Direct-sow seeds outside after all danger of frost has passed to a depth of 1/16 inch. Can be sown in Fall in mild winter areas.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 6 to 10 inches apart. Replant thinned plants.

GERMINATION: 7-21 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

GROWING TIPS: Does not transplant well. Recommend direct-seeding outside. Keep plants moderately moist during germination. Allow soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Cut back foliage when blooms have faded to prevent the plants from becoming woody.

HOW TO SAVE A SHIPPING ADDRESS TO YOUR LISTIA ACCOUNT

1. Go to your Listia homepage (-aka- profile page) and look at the far left column.
. . Near the bottom of the column, will be your ''Account Settings'' section.

2. Click the link labeled as ''Saved Shipping Addresses''.

3. On the next page will be a form for providing a name for shipping purposes.
. . Put your cursor in the textbox pre-filled with : ''Johnny Appleseed''.
. . Highlight and delete good old Johnny, then type in the shipping name you want
. . Press the TAB key.

4. In the address textblock, highlight and delete the pre-flilled address ''151 Third Street''
. . . blah, blah, blah, etc., etc. - - Now type in the shipping address you want to save.

5. Click the ''Verify Address'' button to confirm

6. Click the ''Save'' button . . . Your first shipping address will be saved.

You can verify and store more than one shipping address address, too. For instance, sometimes when I buy things for my daughter or the grandkids, I may want an auction item shipped directly to them. I've stored my daughter's shipping address in my account settings for that purpose. You too may want to do something like that.

If you save more than one shipping address, you will need to pay close attention to which shipping address you click when you win auctions - - so you don't send an auction win to the wrong place.
