Yes they are handmade they are made of cotten No padding you need to use a feminie pad Sorry the shipping pays for a little bit of the material which runs from $3.49 a yard up to $9.99 a yard depending on the sixe it takes a half yard for each one ,elastic and velcro. I sell them on Ebay starting at $6.00 each
