yes its very heavy has never lost its luster i bought it on a indian reservation i am pretty sure its silver but yes it will hold a class ring

ok i looked no stamp but i can tell u this im alergic to metal unless its gold or silver and this never gave me a reaction could it be plated? either way its never lost its shine or luster hope that helps
