This letter opener (with its own black plastic sheath) is from the drug Axid. The top is shaped like a fire axe! It was given to doctors by the drug rep for Axid - the reason for the fire axe? The drug is advertised as "putting the fire out!" (heartburn, etc.)The letter opener is approximately 7" x 1 3/4" x 1/4" - when it's in its sheath, it is approximately 7 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 1/4"
