The listing, Native American Necklace has ended.
Beautiful Native American necklace.. Made on reservation in Arizona. It was my great grandma's & I got it after she passed.. I love it to death but its just to big for me & I don't think it looks right, but I'm shur one of you will give her a great home & where her like she deserves. Happy bidding!!
Well if I ever have anything that you like again & the credits aren't as high that will be fine... But I think I might just give in & get a Paypal account.
It's most likely Navajo from the design, but there's no way to tell exactly unless it was initialed on the back.
Also, there is another good way to send and receive money online and it's Google CheckOut. The only problem with Google CheckOut is that payments are processed through your bank account and it can take up to 5 business days to process. One of the ways PayPal gets hacked is by hackers sending "spoof" emails to your inbox that tell you that there's a problem with your PayPal account and to login to the link they supply in the email to login and update your information. They have websites set up as well as emails that look pretty convincing, but PayPal nor any other payment gateway like that will not send you an anonymous email asking you to login and and update your information. All legitimate emails from payment gateways will address you personally by the name you used to set up the account and it will arrive in the email box you set up with them. After you fall for the phoney email notice, they can use your login info and steal any money i your account and if there's none they will simply keep logging in at random to find out if you have money in it. Then it's gone, gone gone. Since Listia limits text responses, I will continue this below with more information. However, if someone uses your account without your permission (hacked) PayPal will investigate, and most likely refund your stolen money.
If you think someone has used your PayPal account without permission, go to the Resolution Center and report the unauthorized transaction.
Before notifying us, please review the transaction to be sure that it is not a purchase that you made but may have forgotten about, like a recurring payment for a magazine subscription.
We'll investigate the transaction and, if it's unauthorized, refund the payment to your PayPal account.
Hacking is becoming fairly easy now that the new tablets and smart phones can get you logged in to your accounts. I do hope that PayPal refunded your missing money and that things like that will never happen to you again.
As for having online Listia auctions, people do feel more comfortable sending money that can be refunded if something goes wrong. $6.00 isn't a large amount to loose but no one wants to loose money on any Listia auctions no matter the amount. You can ship in a small flat rate USPS box for around $6.00 now, or even in a padded envelope and shipped first class. This item looks worthy of adding insurance as well as having tracking on it which the post office now includes free with certain types of shipments. This piece is very lovely and I wish I had the points to get it but alas I do not.
shannaragoodwin appears to be a sweet young girl and I would love to see her climb up the ranks in Listia as one of the trusted sellers as well as buyers of future auctions. In my opinion everyone deserves a chance. I was a newbie once too and everyone trusted me. Now, I have a good reputation amongst a lot of Listians, but it doesn't happen overnight. I know of two people would are willing to give you a chance, I am one of them and I won't mention the other, but she's on here too.
Your right it is about 6 dollars.. That's why I was asking 5.99, I'm paying what's left & the .85 for the tracking.. & really I don't care if its money order or cod.. Just so long as I can take the money my self to the post office to ship it. So that there is no room for mistakes. & if for any reason if it costs less I was going to up the shipping so that you can get it sooner.
thanks Marie180! I didn't know all that about Google CheckOut! I learn something new every day! Anyways, it does look like Navajo to me too--in fact I thought that in the first place---
Thank you so much for offering free shipping! I free-ship ALL my auctions, so I have already got some $$ invested in my credits---though a piece as special as this made me think twice, LOL! Fanned and bidding :) K.
If it has no markings it's morenlikley what they call old pawn jewelry, they made it for themselves and didn't mark it because everyone knew each others work. It's a very beautiful piece, The turquoise, red coral, and claw. what type of claw do you know? fox, coyote, wolf, or small bear, you'd really be surprized what this piece is worth.
For some reason It won't let me have that option.. Sorry.... Idk why.. This is only the 3rd thing I've put up maybe that's why.. But nobody has bid on it at all.
That's really great!! It's nice to get things that your family member really loved.. It's like you have a pice of them to keep with you. :) It's hard to give this up, but I'd rather it go to someone who will love it. Instead of it sitting in my jewelry box.
