This is only been used ones to see if I liked it on my legs (I want it to be known its technically used) and has since sat unused bought earlier this year maybe in September. Has since been cleaned and is ready to go. Good luck.

does this shave close to the skin like a regular razor

I'm honestly not sure but I assume if you let your hair grow yes it should. Most to all said you need to let hair grow a few days (really depends on how fast your hair grows) for best results. I know I have manual and I will include it. It explains it best.
